PlayStation Returns as Exhibitor at Tokyo Game Show 2024
The Tokyo Game Show 2024, set to take place from September 26 to 29 in Chiba, Japan, will be the largest in its history, featuring 3,190 exhibition booths. The event will host 731 exhibitors, including 448 from Japan and 283 from overseas. Notable participants include Sony Interactive Entertainment, which will exhibit for the first time since 2019, and Nintendo, which will showcase 80 indie titles. The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association, which organizes the event, has emphasized the expanded scale of this year's show.
Tickets for the Public Days on September 28 and 29 will be available starting July 25, with prices set at ¥6,000 for the Supporters Club Ticket. The event will also include a Creator Lounge, supported by YouTube, to facilitate interactions between influencers and new game developers. Additionally, the Selected Indie 80 project has received a record 973 entries this year, highlighting the growing interest and participation in indie game development.
