JPMorgan Debuts AI Chatbot for Research Analysis

JPMorgan Chase has introduced a chatbot, similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT, designed to function as a research analyst for its employees. The bank has provided access to a large language model called LLM Suite to approximately 50,000 employees in its asset and wealth management division. The LLM Suite assists with tasks such as writing, idea generation, and summarizing documents.

This development follows a similar initiative by Morgan Stanley, which launched a GenAI-powered chatbot last year to give financial advisors quick access to its intellectual capital. JPMorgan Chase has not commented on the new chatbot's deployment.
