iQOO Z9 Debuts in India Featuring Dimensity 7200 and 120Hz Display
iQOO has introduced the iQoo Z9 5G to the Indian smartphone market, entering the mid-range segment with competitive pricing and robust features. The phone boasts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, catering to consumers looking for smooth visuals. At the heart of the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, which is paired with 8GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded. Storage options are available in 128GB and 256GB variants.
Photography is supported by a dual-camera system, featuring a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), complemented by a 2MP portrait sensor. A 16MP front-facing camera caters to selfie enthusiasts. For video capabilities, the handset supports 4K recording at 30 frames per second.
The iQoo Z9 5G is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. It is set to go on sale starting from March 13, exclusively on Amazon India and the iQOO online store. The device is priced at ₹19,999 for the 8GB+128GB model and ₹21,999 for the 8GB+256GB model. iQOO has committed to providing two years of Android updates and three years of security updates for the smartphone. The device comes in two color options, Brushed Green and Graphite Blue, and competes in a crowded segment that includes the likes of the Poco X6 5G and Nothing Phone 2a.
