Honeywell Acquires CAES Systems for $2 Billion

Honeywell International has announced its agreement to acquire aerospace and defense technology company CAES Systems for approximately $2 billion from private equity firm Advent International. The all-cash deal is aimed at bolstering Honeywell's aerospace technologies unit, marking the company's second acquisition in recent months to strengthen this division. CAES, previously known as Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions, specializes in the design, development, and testing of electronics for aerospace and defense sectors.
