Apple Reveals macOS 15 Sequoia with iPhone Integration

Apple has officially unveiled macOS 15 Sequoia, its latest operating system for Mac computers, during the WWDC 2024 event. Key features include iPhone Mirroring, which allows users to control their iPhone directly from their Mac, showing the iPhone’s screen, apps, and notifications while keeping the iPhone locked. This feature is part of Apple's Continuity suite, enhancing the integration between iOS and macOS devices.

The new OS also introduces automatic window tiling and a presenter preview mode for video conferencing, aimed at improving productivity and user experience. A new standalone Passwords app has been introduced, providing a cross-platform solution for managing passwords across all Apple devices and even Windows PCs. Safari has received significant updates, including AI-powered features to detect interesting content and provide summaries, as well as enhanced battery life for browsing.

Additional updates include a new Game Port Toolkit for easier game porting to Mac and ray tracing support, aimed at improving the gaming experience on Mac devices. The release is scheduled for mid-September, with a developer beta available immediately for early testing.
