The community calendar in Racine features several upcoming events, including meetings of the Kiwanis Club of West of Racine and the Caledonia Historical Society, as well as activities by the Racine Duplicate Bridge Club. The Racine Garden Club will gather on July 8 to discuss lifelong gardening, with their Summer Magic Garden Tour scheduled for July 14 and a bus tour to Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford, Illinois, on August 12. Additionally, the Friends of the Racine Public Library are seeking new board members, and the Ladies’ New Heart Luncheon will take place on July 16 at Parkway Chateau in Kenosha.

Suleman Aqeel Khilji is showcasing a series of paintings inspired by various sources at Jhaveri Contemporary until July 21. A six-member ensemble will perform a Brazilian/Latin Jazz set, highlighting jazz-fusion and funk from the 1970s to the 1990s. Michelin-starred chef Jacob Jan Boerm will headline “Rendezvous by The Chambers: The Culinary Chronicles” at the Taj Mahal hotel. The Outdoors Calendar lists various public events, including hikes by the Lancaster Hiking Club and indoor archery sessions. Conewago Rod & Gun Club will host trap shoots every Tuesday from 2-7 p.m. and public practice sessions each Saturday. Columbia Fish and Game will also hold weekly public trap shoots on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m.
