AEW has unveiled a new masked wrestler named Hologram, who is set to debut on the July 20 episode of AEW Collision in Arlington, Texas. The character, portrayed by former AAA and GCW veteran Aramis, has been a long-term project for AEW, with the promotion trademarking the name over a year ago. Described as "technologically ambitious," Hologram is expected to be a unique addition to AEW's roster, distinguishing itself from other characters in the wrestling world.

Despite speculation that Hologram might be Sammy Guevara or Ricochet, AEW confirmed that Aramis will be playing the role. The debut coincides with an already stacked card featuring matches such as The Bang Bang Gang vs. The Patriarchy for the vacant Unified World Trios Championship, Deonna Purrazzo vs. Thunder Rosa, and Darby Allin vs. The Beast Mortos. The introduction of Hologram is part of AEW's strategy to continually innovate and expand its roster with distinctive and creative characters.
