Ys X: Nordics Launches October 25 Worldwide

NIS America and Nihon Falcom have announced the release of Ys X: Nordics for October 25, 2024, in North America and Europe. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Players will follow the adventures of Adol Christin and Karja Balta, who are bound by the power of Mana, as they navigate conflicts between the Normans and the enigmatic Griegr. The gameplay features the Cross Action System, allowing players to switch between characters and utilize their combined strengths.

The Limited Edition of Ys X: Nordics, priced at $104.99, includes a physical copy of the game, a mini soundtrack, a metal pin, a postcard set, and a sling bag, and is available for pre-order on the NIS America Online Store. A Deluxe Edition is also available for $59.99. The game will feature Japanese and English audio, with subtitles available in English and French for consoles, and an additional Japanese text option for the PC version. Ys X: Nordics promises new combat mechanics, including timed dodges and counter-attacks, as well as cooperative moves between Adol and Karja to enhance gameplay.
