Yellowstone Resumes Filming for Final Season 5 Episodes

Production has resumed in Montana for the final episodes of the fifth and final season of Paramount Network's "Yellowstone," with the series set to return in November. The show, co-created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, had been on hiatus since January 2023 due to writers' and actors' strikes. Kevin Costner, who portrayed the lead character John Dutton, left the series last year to focus on his film "Horizon: An American Saga," but has expressed interest in reprising his role for the concluding episodes.

In addition to wrapping up "Yellowstone," Paramount Network has announced a spinoff series featuring Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, and Cole Hauser, who are in talks to return. The new series, tentatively titled "2024," is part of the network's broader strategy to expand the "Yellowstone" universe, which already includes prequels "1883" and "1923" and the in-development modern-day spinoff "6666." Despite the delays and behind-the-scenes challenges, the final episodes of "Yellowstone" are expected to air in November, bringing closure to the popular series.
