Vistry Group and Sovereign Network Partner on £157m Ealing Housing Project

Vistry Group PLC has been selected by Sovereign Network Group (SNG) to undertake a £157 million development project at Merrick Place in Ealing, West London. The project will involve the construction of 575 new mixed-tenure homes, including affordable housing for rent, shared ownership, and private rental sector (PRS) units. In addition to residential units, the development will feature commercial floorspace across four separate buildings. The scheme is designed to be a car-free zone, offering 926 bicycle parking spaces and two dedicated servicing bays. David Gooch, executive director of development for London and Herts at SNG, described the project as a flagship scheme within SNG’s London New Homes Programme.

Separately, Vistry Group has also been selected by Goram Homes, a housing company owned by Bristol City Council, to build 140 new homes in Lockleaze, Bristol. This project will transform the former Dovercourt Depot into a new community, with half of the homes designated as affordable housing for social rent and shared ownership, and the other half sold on the open market. The homes will feature sustainable technologies such as solar panels, air source heat pumps, green roofs, and electric car charging points. Additionally, the development will include a new public park aimed at enhancing local biodiversity by up to 10%.
