Venom 3 Titled 'The Last Dance,' Set for October Release

Sony Pictures has announced that the upcoming film "Venom: The Last Dance" will be released on October 25, 2024, moving up from its initial November 8 slot. This marks the third installment in the Venom series, with Tom Hardy returning to the role of Eddie Brock/Venom. The film also stars Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor, with Clark Backo reportedly part of the cast as well.

The project will see Kelly Marcel, who has written the previous two films, step into the director's chair for the first time, in addition to her writing and producing duties. She shares production credits with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Hutch Parker, and Hardy himself. Filming began in late 2023 in Spain but faced delays due to a SAG-AFTRA strike before resuming in November.

The first two Venom films have been commercial successes, collectively earning $1.3 billion globally. The new film will be shown in IMAX and premium large format screens. Despite the change in release date and the announcement of the title, details about the plot remain under wraps.
