The term "Reich" in this context appears to refer to the formation of the modern pan-German nation in 1871 rather than Nazi Germany.

The campaign press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, clarified that the video was not an official campaign production but was reposted from a random account online. A staffer reportedly did not notice the word "Reich" before republishing it. This incident comes amid ongoing criticism of Trump for using language and rhetoric associated with Nazism, including his previous controversial statements and associations.
