Tori Spelling Keeps Placentas in Her Freezer, Leaves One With a Friend

Tori Spelling, actress and mother of five, revealed on her podcast "misSPELLING" that she has two frozen placentas stored in her freezer and another in a friend's freezer. Spelling defended her decision, citing purported health benefits of keeping and consuming the placenta. She mentioned that she and her ex-husband, Dean McDermott, once ate one of her placentas, which McDermott had cooked and seasoned.

Spelling and McDermott filed for divorce earlier this year after 18 years of marriage. Spelling shares five children with McDermott and mentioned that the placentas are not from her youngest child, Beau McDermott. Spelling also addressed allegations that she had trashed a home she recently moved out of, with her landlord joining the podcast to clarify the situation.
