Several vehicles at the rear of a motorcade carrying Minnesota Governor and Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz were involved in a crash in Milwaukee. The incident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. local time during a campaign stop for Laborfest. While Walz and his wife, Gwen Moore, were uninjured, a campaign staffer and a reporter sustained minor injuries, including a broken arm and a possible concussion. Both individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The collision involved the press and staff vans, which were significantly damaged. The precise cause of the accident remains unclear.
