Slash and Chris Stapleton Unveil Bluesy Fleetwood Mac Cover

Slash, the iconic guitarist, has teamed up with country music artist Chris Stapleton for a cover of Fleetwood Mac's classic track "Oh Well." The collaboration is part of Slash's sixth solo project, "Orgy of the Damned," a blues covers album slated for release on May 17. The album brings together an eclectic array of guest vocalists including Iggy Pop, Demi Lovato, Paul Rodgers, Gary Clark Jr., Billy Gibbons, and others, each lending their voice to different tracks.

The record promises to offer a fresh take on blues classics, reinvigorating them with Slash's signature guitar work and a stripped-down approach. In addition to the "Oh Well" cover, the album's first single, "Killing Floor," showcases Brian Johnson of AC/DC on vocals with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith on harmonica. The project not only pays tribute to blues legends but also introduces lesser-known blues songs to a new audience.

To support the album, Slash will hit the road with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, kicking off a spring tour across North America. Special guests will join them on select dates. Furthermore, Slash will host the S.E.N.T. Festival starting on July 5, featuring performances by contemporary blues artists such as Warren Haynes Band, Keb’ Mo’, Robert Randolph, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, ZZ Ward, Jackie Venson, and Larkin Poe.
