Singapore Airlines compensates turbulence victims up to $37k

Singapore Airlines has announced compensation packages for passengers affected by severe turbulence on flight SQ321 from London to Singapore on May 20. The turbulence, which occurred over Myanmar, resulted in one fatality and numerous injuries. The flight was subsequently diverted to Bangkok, Thailand, where the injured received medical attention.

The airline is offering $10,000 to passengers with minor injuries and $25,000 to those with more serious injuries.
