Shannen Doherty, an actress known for her roles in "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Charmed," has died at the age of 53 after a long battle with breast cancer. Doherty was first diagnosed with the disease in 2015 and went into remission in 2017. However, her cancer returned in 2020, progressing to stage four and eventually spreading to her brain.

Throughout her illness, Doherty was open about her struggles, sharing details of her treatment, including a single mastectomy, and her experiences with the disease.
