Relay for Life Rallies Nationwide to End Cancer

Led by Andrew Marchant, the challenge starts on August 9 and has already raised over £4000. Meanwhile, Karen Jenkins from the West Midlands is undertaking a 1,000-mile road trip in a three-wheeled car to raise awareness about secondary cancer, following her diagnosis last year. The trip is inspired by the story of Berneray's first car, a 1923 Morgan Runaround.

The 2024 Hamilton/Wayne/White County Relay For Life aims to raise over $60,000, with current donations totaling $58,900. Donations support services like free rides to treatment and research discoveries. The Yellowstone County Relay for Life Luminaria Challenge Week, from August 5 to 8, offers rewards for teams with the most luminaria sales. Additionally, Chick-fil-A will host a fundraiser on August 7 at Regional Medical Center for the Delaware County Relay for Life team.
