Packers to Name Ed Policy as New President and CEO

The Green Bay Packers have unanimously approved Ed Policy as their next president and CEO, set to succeed Mark Murphy in July 2025. Policy, who has been with the Packers since 2012 and currently serves as the chief operating officer and general counsel, will become the 12th president in the team's history. Murphy will continue in his role until he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.

Policy's appointment comes after a long tenure with the Packers, during which he has been credited with significant contributions to the organization, including his work on the Titletown development. The Packers board of directors voted unanimously in favor of Policy, ensuring a smooth transition as he works closely with Murphy over the next year. Murphy, who has been with the Packers since 2007, expressed confidence in Policy's leadership capabilities.
