Olympic Gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik Joins 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 33
Olympic bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik has been announced as the first contestant for Season 33 of "Dancing with the Stars." The announcement was made during a live appearance on "Good Morning America." Nedoroscik gained national prominence at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he helped Team USA's men's gymnastics team secure their first medal in 16 years with a bronze in the team event. He also earned an individual bronze medal in the pommel horse competition, making history as the first American man to medal in this event in eight years.
The new season of "Dancing with the Stars" will premiere on September 17 on ABC and Disney+. The rest of the cast will be revealed on "Good Morning America" on September 4. Returning to the show are co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, along with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. Nedoroscik, known as the "Pommel Horse Guy," will compete for the Mirror Ball trophy, bringing his athletic prowess to the dance floor.
