No Man's Sky Aquarius Update Finally Introduces Fishing
Hello Games has released the latest update for No Man's Sky, titled Aquarius, which introduces fishing to the space exploration game. Inspired by fan art, the update allows players to explore the galaxy to find ideal fishing spots and catch a variety of fish, ranging from common minnows to exotic alien species, each with unique habitats and conditions. The update includes new features such as fishing logs, trophies, and recipes, alongside fishing equipment rewards.
The Aquarius update also brings enhancements to the game's water effects and introduces new mechanics like fishing pots and personal fishing platforms. Players can build an Exo-Skiff, a deployable fishing platform, to aid in deep-sea fishing. A new fishing expedition has been added, encouraging players to embark on quests to catch the biggest fish. Additionally, new seafood recipes for the Nutrient Processor and other fishing-related rewards have been incorporated into the game. The update is available across all platforms and continues Hello Games' efforts to expand and enrich the No Man's Sky universe.
