Neysa Secures $20M Seed Funding for Gen AI Expansion

Neysa, an Indian startup specializing in AI cloud and platform-as-a-service (PaaS), has raised $20 million in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Matrix Partners India, Nexus Venture Partners, and NTTVC. The investment marks a significant step for Neysa, which is India's first startup in this domain, and is spearheaded by Sharad Sanghi, a notable figure in India's cloud computing industry.

The capital infusion is earmarked for the development and launch of Neysa's Generative AI cloud platform as a service, with a focus on network observability and security observability. The startup aims to support businesses in India and globally by providing tools to maintain control over their data and intellectual property. Neysa has been in stealth mode for approximately 15 months and is expected to make its services available in the third quarter of 2024.

The funding will be utilized to build infrastructure, accelerate research and development, and fortify the technical team. Furthermore, Neysa plans to enhance its go-to-market strategy. Co-founded by CEO Sharad Sanghi and CTO Anindya Das, Neysa's inception reflects the founders' experience in data center networks and a commitment to leveraging AI to empower enterprises with innovative solutions.
