Netflix has released the first official teaser trailer for "Emilia Perez," a musical crime drama directed by Jacques Audiard. The film stars Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Adriana Paz. The storyline centers around Mexican cartel boss Emilia, played by Gascón, who collaborates with her lawyer, Rita, to fake her own death, allowing her to embrace her true gender identity.

The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received significant acclaim, including awards for Best Actress and Best Soundtrack. "Emilia Perez" is set for a limited theatrical release on November 1, followed by a streaming release on Netflix on November 13 in the US, Canada, and the UK.
