Miss Michigan Alma Cooper Wins Miss USA 2024 Amid Recent Controversy
Alma Cooper of Michigan has been crowned Miss USA 2024 following the 73rd Miss USA pageant. Cooper, an Army officer and graduate of the United States Military Academy, is the first active-duty Army officer to hold the Miss Michigan USA title. Savannah Gankiewicz took over Voigt's title before crowning Cooper. Additionally, Addie Carver of Mississippi was named Miss Teen USA 2024 just days before Cooper's win.
