Men's Track & Field Shines Across Invitational Meets

At the Muhlenberg Invitational, the men's track and field team showcased strong performances, with two athletes qualifying for the conference championship in the 800-meter. A graduate student marked his spring track debut by placing fourth with a time of 1:57.35, and a junior followed in seventh with a time of 2:00.96. In the 200-meter, a senior clocked a personal best of 22.54 to take second, and in the high jump, a sophomore secured third with a 1.80m jump. The 4x400-meter 'A' relay team finished sixth. The team now has 27 athletes qualified for the upcoming championships and is set to compete at a home meet against Moravian University and Muhlenberg College.

Howard University's men's track & field team earned a second-place finish at the Bison Classic with 60 points and five first-place victories. Notably, a senior won the 110-meter hurdles in 14.60 seconds, and two other team members finished in the top three. A sophomore from Bridgetown, Barbados, took the 800-meter run title with a time of 1:56.50, and two juniors dominated the long jump, placing first and second. Their next competition is the Tom Jones Invitational in Gainesville, Florida.

Meanwhile, Fordham's men's team secured six track event victories at the Metropolitan Outdoor Track & Field Championship, earning second place with 134.5 points, their highest men's finish since 2019. The team excelled in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the 4x100 relay. They also made a strong showing in the 1,500 meters, claiming multiple top spots. The Rams look forward to competing at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton University.

The UC Santa Barbara Track and Field team also enjoyed success at the Triton Invitational, achieving multiple podium finishes and personal records. The women's 4x100m Relay team and men's 110m Hurdles stood out with top finishes. The Gauchos are preparing for their next events at the Clay Invite Multis and the Beach Invitational.

The University of Connecticut men's track & field team posted 13 top-five results and two first-place finishes at the USF Invitational. A new school record was set in the hammer throw, and the team notched a season-best in the 4x100m relay. They are gearing up for the Duke Invitational
