Mark Wahlberg Stars in High-Flying Action Directed by Mel Gibson in 'Flight Risk' Trailer

Lionsgate has released the trailer for the upcoming action thriller "Flight Risk," directed by Mel Gibson and starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery, and Topher Grace. The film follows a pilot (Wahlberg) who is transporting an Air Marshal (Dockery) and a fugitive (Grace) to trial. Tensions escalate when it is revealed that Wahlberg's character is a hit man hired to prevent the fugitive from testifying.

This marks the third collaboration between Gibson and Wahlberg, with the screenplay penned by Jared Rosenberg. The film's release is scheduled for October 18, 2024. "Flight Risk" is produced by Gibson along with John Davis, John Fox, and Bruce Davey, and supported by a team of executive producers including Alex Lebovici and Jenny Hinkey. This is Gibson's first directorial project since the 2016 Oscar-winning film "Hacksaw Ridge."
