The LEGO Group has announced the addition of two new sets to their lineup, both with a space exploration theme. The first set is the LEGO Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System (10341), a 3,601-piece set that reflects the engineering prowess behind the Artemis program. The set features a detailed model of the Artemis I rocket, complete with a mobile launch tower with retractable umbilicals, a crew bridge, and rocket support. It also includes a model of the Orion spacecraft, which is part of NASA's plan to return humans to the Moon and eventually send missions to Mars. This set is aimed at adult builders and will be available early to LEGO Insiders from May 15, with a general release following on May 18.

The second set is LEGO Art The Milky Way Galaxy (31212), which consists of 3,091 pieces and offers a colorful three-dimensional representation of the Milky Way. The model is sizable, measuring 40cm in height, 65cm in width, and 5cm in depth, and comes with a feature allowing it to be hung on a wall. An exclusive podcast will accompany the building experience of this set. It will also be available early to LEGO Insiders on May 15, and for wider purchase from May 18.

Both sets are part of LEGO's efforts to celebrate and educate about space exploration and the cosmos. The Artemis Space Launch System set is priced at $259.99, while The Milky Way Galaxy set will retail for £169.99/ $199.99 / €199.95.
