Knifeman Stabs Multiple People at German Rally on YouTube Livestream
A knifeman was shot dead by police after stabbing multiple people during an anti-Islam rally in Mannheim, Germany. The incident, which was live-streamed on YouTube, occurred at a gathering organized by the Citizens’ Movement Pax Europa (BPE), a group known for its anti-Islam stance. The attacker injured at least two people, including a police officer, before being shot by law enforcement. The police operation is ongoing, and a rescue helicopter has been deployed.
The assailant was seen attacking participants and bystanders at the rally, including dragging one man to the ground and attempting to stab him in the head. Another victim suffered a knife wound to the leg. The attacker was wearing dark clothing, including black tracksuit bottoms, a black jacket, and an orange backpack. The rally was taking place in Mannheim’s market square, and the area is currently under heavy police presence as investigations continue.
