Justice Sotomayor admits to crying over certain Supreme Court rulings

Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the most senior liberal on the conservative-leaning Supreme Court, has revealed that she sometimes cries following certain court decisions. Speaking at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University, where she received an award, Sotomayor suggested there may be more tears in the coming days as the court prepares to decide on several high-profile issues. These include former President Donald Trump's claim of immunity from federal election subversion charges and two major cases related to abortion.

Sotomayor has previously expressed her frustration with the court's direction, describing her emotional responses to some rulings. The Supreme Court, which has a 6-3 conservative majority, is expected to deliver decisions on these and other significant cases by the end of June.
