Israeli Forces Rescue Four Hostages from Gaza

The Israeli military has rescued four hostages from Hamas in a significant operation in Nuseirat, central Gaza. The hostages, Noa Argamani, 25, Almog Meir Jan, 21, Andrey Kozlov, 27, and Shlomi Ziv, 40, were taken from the Nova music festival during an attack by Hamas on October 7. This operation, conducted by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Israel Police, and Israel Securities Authority, is the largest rescue since the Gaza war began.

The hostages were located in two separate locations and have been transferred to the Sheba Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for medical examinations. All four are reported to be in good medical condition. This latest rescue effort brings the total number of hostages recovered to seven. The IDF continues its counteroffensive against Hamas to reclaim the remaining hostages, with over 130 individuals still believed to be held captive.
