Honkai Star Rail 2.5: Livestream Codes, Events, and Character Releases
The Honkai Star Rail 2.5 special program livestream has unveiled the upcoming character banners for the next patch, which will be divided into two phases. The first phase will spotlight Feixiao’s limited-time character banner alongside the rerun banners of Kafka, Robin, and Black Swan. In the second phase, Lingsha will be the featured character. Both phases will include three Light Cones, featuring the characters' signature Light Cones.
During the livestream, scheduled for August 30, 2024, three exclusive redeem codes will be released, offering rewards such as Stellar Jades and Traveler's Guide. These codes will be valid until August 31, 2024, and can be redeemed through various methods including the official website, in-game options, or the HoYoLAB app. The rewards will be sent to players via the in-game mailing system.
Additionally, Honkai Star Rail has announced the Garden of Plenty event, which will allow players to collect extra upgrade materials by completing combat challenges. Players will have limited opportunities to double their rewards from these challenges daily. The update, set for release on September 10, 2024, will also introduce a new area, The Skysplitter, and continue the main storyline involving Woolay and his Borisin.
New Light Cones, including the 5-star "I Venture Forth to Hunt" and "Scent Alone Stays True," were also revealed during the livestream. A collaboration apparel line featuring characters from Honkai Star Rail has been launched by BAIT in Japan, with high demand leading to several items selling out quickly. The update will also feature a continuation of the Xianzhou Luofu narrative and offer various free rewards and limited-time content for players.
