GloRilla Faces DUI Charge, Wardrobe Mishap in Georgia Arrest
GloRilla, a Grammy-nominated rapper whose legal name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, was arrested in Gwinnett County, Georgia, on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container. The 24-year-old artist was stopped by police after making an illegal U-turn at a red light around 4 a.m. Upon being pulled over, her vehicle reportedly emitted the smell of alcohol and marijuana. Woods admitted to having consumed alcohol earlier in the evening. After failing a series of sobriety tests and refusing a breathalyzer test, she was taken into custody.
During the arrest, an incident occurred where Woods experienced a wardrobe malfunction, which was noted by the arresting officer. She was released on bond several hours later for the amount of $1,956. The rapper has been actively promoting her new music on social media but has yet to make a public statement regarding the arrest. Her management team confirmed that she is receiving support and treatment to address her issues with alcohol.
