Fate Remastered Series Launches August 8, Sequel Announced

Aniplex and Type-Moon have announced that the remastered version of the visual novel Fate/Stay Night will be released digitally on August 8th for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. This remaster, based on the 2012 PS Vita release of Fate/stay night Realta Nua, will feature high-definition graphics and animations, with support for English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles. This marks the first time the series will be officially available in these languages.

Additionally, a remastered version of the sequel, Fate/hollow ataraxia, is also in development for a digital release on the same platforms. The announcement was made during the FGO Expo in Japan, where it was also revealed that the smartphone app Fate/Grand Order will hold a commemorative launch campaign. The remastered editions are part of Aniplex's 20th anniversary celebrations and continue to expand the reach of the Fate series, which began with the original 2004 release in Japan and has since grown into a significant multimedia franchise.
