Childish Gambino Sets Dates for 'The New World Tour' in Australia, New Zealand, and More

Donald Glover, known by his stage name Childish Gambino, has unveiled plans for his upcoming global tour, "The New World Tour," with dates spanning across North America, Europe, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The tour is set to kick off in Oklahoma City, OK, at the Paycom Center on August 11, and will conclude in Perth, WA, at the RAC Arena on February 11. This announcement follows the release of Glover's latest album, "Atavista," which has been described as a reimagined version of his earlier album "3.15.20."

The tour, produced by AEG Presents, will feature a total of 33 shows in North America, with performances at notable venues including the Schottenstein Center in Ohio and Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Willow is slated to open the North American shows, while Amaarae will accompany Glover as a special guest on the international dates. Glover's stop in Dublin's 3Arena on December 5th, 2024, will be one of the highlights of the European leg of the tour.

Tickets for "The New World Tour" are scheduled to go on sale to the general public starting May 17 at 10 a.m. local time, with various pre-sales available including an exclusive American Express pre-sale for North American, Australian, and select UK dates. Fans can also sign up for early access through an artist pre-sale. The tour comes after Glover hinted that his next album could be his last, marking these performances as potentially some of his final live shows.
