The condition has affected Dion since 2008, causing difficulties in controlling her voice, and was officially diagnosed in 2020. In response to her health challenges, Dion has had to postpone and cancel several tour dates, including European shows in 2022.

A new documentary, "I Am: Celine Dion," directed by Irene Taylor, is set to be released globally on Prime Video on June 25. The film offers a behind-the-scenes look at Dion's struggle with the disorder, highlighting both her personal and professional journey. It includes archival footage, new interviews, and scenes of Dion navigating her diagnosis. The documentary aims to serve as a love letter to her fans, showcasing her resilience and determination to return to the stage.
