Cate Blanchett Stars in Alfonso Cuarón’s Tense Apple TV+ Series 'Disclaimer'

Apple TV+ has released a teaser trailer for its new limited series, "Disclaimer," directed and written by five-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón. The series, based on Renée Knight's novel, stars Cate Blanchett as Catherine Ravenscroft, a journalist whose past is threatened to be exposed by a mysterious novel. Kevin Kline co-stars as the author, with additional cast members including Sacha Baron Cohen, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Hoyeon, Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, and Leila George.

"Disclaimer" is set to debut on Apple TV+ with its first two episodes on October 11, 2024, followed by new episodes every Friday through November 15, 2024. The series is co-produced by Esperanto Filmoj and Anonymous Content. This marks Cuarón's first television project since 2014's "Believe." The teaser trailer indicates a focus on themes of reputation and the weaponization of words, aligning with the storyline of the novel.
