Caroline Manzo Sues Bravo, Alleges Costar Assault and Harassment

Caroline Manzo, a former star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," has filed a lawsuit against the Bravo network and several affiliated companies including Forest Productions, Warner Bros Entertainment, NBCUniversal Media, Shed Media, and Peacock TV, alleging sexual harassment and assault. The suit claims that during the filming of "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" in Morocco, cast member Brandi Glanville sexually assaulted Manzo by fondling her genitals and breasts. According to the complaint, Glanville, allegedly encouraged by the production's provision of alcohol, pinned Manzo against a door as she attempted to leave, and no assistance was provided.

The lawsuit contends that the network and its production companies have a practice of plying cast members with alcohol to induce severe intoxication and encourage sexual harassment for the purpose of increasing ratings. It further claims that these actions have left Manzo emotionally distressed, exacerbating the trauma of her previous sexual assaults. Both Manzo and Glanville left the show before production was completed following the allegations.

In response to the lawsuit, a representative for Glanville has refuted the claims, stating to Page Six that the accusations are "defamatory, false," and denied any sexual assault took place. The legal process is ongoing and no further comments from the involved parties have been released at this time.
