Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is scheduled to release on October 25, 2024, according to listings on both Xbox and PlayStation stores. Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, the game will be set in the early 1990s and will feature a spy action thriller campaign, 16 new multiplayer maps, and a new round-based Zombies mode with two maps available at launch. The game will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC. It will also be included in Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service on day one.

The game's multiplayer mode will include 12 core 6v6 maps and four additional strike maps. For fans of the Zombies mode, the round-based structure will return with two new maps available at launch. Various editions of the game will be available for purchase, including the Standard Edition priced at $69.99 and a Cross-Gen Edition priced between $30 and $99.99. Pre-orders will offer exclusive bonuses such as early access to the open beta, digital rewards, and additional in-game content. The Vault Edition, which includes extra digital bonuses and a BlackCell Battle Pass for Season 1, will be available on October 17, 2024.
