BTS's Suga Apologizes for DUI on Electric Scooter During Military Service

BTS member Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, has publicly apologized for driving an electric scooter while intoxicated. The incident occurred in Seoul when Suga was returning home after a night out and fell off his scooter. He was discovered by a police officer who, upon noticing signs of intoxication, administered a breathalyzer test. The test indicated a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or higher, leading to the revocation of his license and a fine.

Suga, who is currently serving as a social service agent in lieu of traditional military service, posted a heartfelt apology on the BTS Weverse page. He expressed regret for not realizing that riding an electric scooter under the influence was illegal and vowed to ensure such incidents do not happen again. BigHit Music, BTS's management agency, also issued a statement apologizing for the incident and promising to take appropriate disciplinary action.
