Speaking on the BBC podcast "Miss Me?" with hosts Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver, Eilish recounted an incident from last December when someone she had been dating for years suddenly cut off all communication without explanation. She discovered later that this person was dating someone else, an experience she described as "insane" and "unbelievable."
Eilish also discussed the broader impact of her fame on her personal relationships, noting that she has lost many friends since rising to stardom. Despite these challenges, she remains close with her best friend Zoe and several of her staff members, although she admitted to having abandonment issues and feeling unsettled by loss. In recent years, she has made efforts to rebuild old friendships and forge new ones. Her third studio album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft," was released last month.
