Aerosmith Reschedules Peace Out Farewell Tour Dates

Aerosmith has announced the resumption of their Peace Out farewell tour with new dates set for 2024. The tour will start on September 20th at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and will conclude on February 26th at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The Black Crowes are slated to join as special guests. This follows a postponement caused by lead singer Steven Tyler's vocal cord injury, specifically a fractured larynx that required a longer recovery period than initially expected.

The 41-date North American tour will cover major arenas, including the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Madison Square Garden in New York, and Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Originally, the tour was scheduled to end in January 2024, but it has now been extended into February 2025. Tickets purchased for the original dates will be honored at the rescheduled shows, and refunds are available for those who cannot attend the new dates. Drummer Joey Kramer, who was absent from the initial dates, will not be participating in the rescheduled tour; his replacement is John Douglas.

The band's 50th anniversary is also being commemorated with a limited edition deluxe vinyl set of their album "Get Your Wings," which will be released in May, numbered from 1 to 1974. Despite setbacks, including a dismissed lawsuit against Tyler for assault allegations from the Seventies, Aerosmith is moving forward with the tour, aiming to celebrate their storied career with fans across the continent.
