Zenless Zone Zero's First Major PS5 Update Arrives August 14 with New Characters and Events
Zenless Zone Zero, a free-to-play RPG by HoYoverse, is set to release its Version 1.1 update, titled "Undercover R&B," on August 14, 2024. This update will introduce three new characters: Qingyi, an S-Rank Electric Stun officer; Jane from the Mountain Lion Gang; and Seth, an A-Rank Electric Defense character. The update will also add new gameplay elements, including the "Inferno Reap" mode, where players can battle the monster Nineveh, and a visual novel-style mode focused on law enforcement.
The new content will feature challenges for New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.) and delve into the stories of Qingyi, Jane, and Seth. Players will have access to new areas, such as Lumina Square, and themed events like "Camellia Golden Week." Additionally, the update will introduce various in-game events and features, including the Immersive Tactical Drill, First-Class Customer Service, and an upgraded camera function with selfie options and filters.
The update will be released simultaneously on PC, PS5, iOS, and Android. The developers have announced that new areas, modes, and features will be introduced, enhancing the gameplay experience. Players will also receive a new redemption code for Polychromes as part of the update.
