Paddington in Peru Trailer Released: Beloved Bear Returns with Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas

The first trailer for "Paddington in Peru," the third installment of the popular Paddington film series, has been released. Directed by Dougal Wilson, the movie features Olivia Colman as a guitar-wielding nun and Antonio Banderas in a new role. Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton return as the voices of Paddington and Aunt Lucy, respectively. The film will be released in the UK on November 8, 2024, and in the U.S. on January 17, 2025.

"Paddington in Peru" follows Paddington's journey back to Peru to visit his Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. Accompanied by his adoptive London family, the Browns, Paddington's adventure aims to uncover more about his origins and how he was rescued. The cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, and new addition Carla Tous, who replaces Rachel Zegler. The screenplay is by Mark Burton, Jon Foster, and James Lamont, with a story by Paul King, Simon Farnaby, and Mark Burton.

The first two films in the Paddington series have grossed over $500 million worldwide. This latest installment will explore the Amazon rainforest and the Peruvian mountains, offering fans a deeper look into Paddington's past while continuing the beloved bear's heartwarming and humorous adventures.
