Netflix’s Tomb Raider Anime Premieres in October with New Trailer

Netflix has announced the release date for its upcoming animated series, "Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft," which will be available for streaming on October 10, 2024. The series, set after the events of the "Survivor" trilogy of video games, will feature Hayley Atwell as the voice of Lara Croft. Other cast members include Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon, who will reprise his role as Jonah Maiava from the video game series.

"Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft" marks the first time the character has been featured in an animated series. The series is executive produced and written by Tasha Huo, with additional executive producers including Dmitri M. Johnson, Timothy I. Stevenson, Jacob Robinson, Dallas Dickinson, Noah Hughes, and Howard Bliss and Jen Chambers. The original "Tomb Raider" video game was released in 1996 and has since expanded to over 20 titles, making the franchise a long-standing and influential presence in the action-adventure genre.
