Ti West's trilogy, which began with "X" and its prequel "Pearl," will conclude with "MaXXXine," set to release on July 5, 2024. The film continues the story of Maxine Minx, portrayed by Mia Goth, as she navigates the challenges of Hollywood in the 1980s. The narrative will focus on her efforts to establish herself in the industry while being pursued by the Night Stalker, a real-life serial killer active in Los Angeles during that period.

"MaXXXine" boasts a star-studded cast including Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon. The trailer provides a glimpse into the film's meta dimension, featuring a movie-within-a-movie, "The Puritan II," and hints at the thematic exploration of censorship and sexuality during the Reagan era's Satanic Panic.
