Lenovo Unveils Revolutionary ThinkBook Auto Twist with Motorized Hinge

Lenovo has introduced a concept laptop, the Auto Twist AI PC, featuring a motorized rotating hinge capable of swiveling and bowing down on command. Designed to enhance adaptability, ergonomics, and security, the laptop can track users' movements and adjust its display to reduce fatigue and strain. The device can also respond to voice commands and uses facial recognition to follow users as they move, potentially closing its lid when they walk away to protect privacy.

The Auto Twist was showcased at an event in Berlin, Germany, where it was demonstrated by Lenovo's Senior Story Technologist Kevin Beck. Despite its innovative features, including built-in object tracking and a ChatGPT-style voice assistant, Lenovo has not announced any plans to bring the Auto Twist to market or provided pricing details. The company is currently exploring potential use cases, such as high-end luxury POS terminals. Other products launched by Lenovo include the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition and the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13, featuring Intel's Core Ultra processors, set to be available in November starting at $1,999.
