Justin Timberlake's driver's license has been suspended following a hearing in Sag Harbor, New York. The suspension stems from an incident on June 18, when Timberlake was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Timberlake was pulled over after allegedly failing to stop at a stop sign and refusing to take a breathalyzer test. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, claiming he had only consumed one martini.
During the hearing, the judge admonished Timberlake's attorney, Edward Burke Jr., for making "irresponsible" comments and threatened to issue a gag order if such comments continued. The police report noted that Timberlake was unsteady on his feet and failed field sobriety tests. The next court date is scheduled for August 9.
