Jeff Eastin Confirms 'White Collar' Reboot with Cast Involvement
Jeff Eastin, creator of the police procedural series "White Collar," has confirmed that an updated version of the show is in development. Eastin is writing the script and will reunite with original stars Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, and Tiffani Thiessen, who have all confirmed their involvement. The revival is expected to pay tribute to the late Willie Garson, who portrayed the character Mozzie and passed away in 2021.
The announcement was made during a 15th anniversary reunion panel at Variety's TV Fest. While specific plot details have not been disclosed, the new version aims to revisit the storylines left open-ended when the series concluded in 2014. There has been speculation that the reboot might find a home on Hulu, given that the series is owned by 20th TV, now under Disney's umbrella. The original series, which aired for six seasons on USA Network, followed Neal Caffrey, a con artist turned FBI consultant, played by Bomer.
