FX Reveals Chilling First Teaser for "Alien: Earth"

FX has released the first teaser trailer for "Alien: Earth," an upcoming TV series directed by Noah Hawley, known for his work on "Fargo." The series is set approximately 30 years before Ridley Scott's 1979 film "Alien" and will be available on Hulu in 2025. The show marks a significant shift for the franchise as it is the first to be set on Earth, involving a space vessel crash-landing and introducing Xenomorphs in a terrestrial setting.

The cast includes Sydney Chandler, who plays a character named Wendy with the brain and consciousness of a child but the body of an adult, alongside Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav, Kit Young, and Timothy Olyphant. The plot centers around Wendy and a group of tactical soldiers facing off against the Xenomorph threat. The series has faced delays due to strikes in the entertainment industry but is expected to offer a fresh take on the beloved sci-fi horror franchise.
