Apple Tops Kantar's List as First $1 Trillion Global Brand

Apple has become the first brand to reach $1 trillion in brand value, a 15% increase from the previous year, according to Kantar's BrandZ. This marks the third consecutive year Apple has retained its title as the world's most valuable brand in 2024. Following Apple, Google and Microsoft secured the second and third positions with brand values of $753 billion and $713 billion, respectively.

With a market capitalization of $3.18 trillion, Apple ranks just behind Microsoft and ahead of Nvidia, which has a market cap of $2.97 trillion. Nvidia's brand value nearly tripled to over $200 billion, making it the sixth most valuable brand globally. Kantar's research covered over 4.3 million consumer interviews and 21,000 brands in 54 markets.

The total value of the Kantar BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands has risen by 20% in 2024, driven primarily by tech brands like Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia, which contributed significantly to the $1.2 trillion growth compared to the previous year.
